What you need to run it
MyFuturesOS is desktop software that plugs into your own broker. Check this list before you subscribe — if it doesn't describe you, it won't work, and we'd rather you knew now than after paying.
Windows 10 or 11. MyFuturesOS installs and runs locally on your machine.
Your own NinjaTrader 8 installation and account (Sim or funded). MyFuturesOS connects to it locally — we never hold your broker credentials.
One installer, then paste your license key. A bridge add-on drops into NinjaTrader and compiles with F5.
Your NinjaTrader runs on your PC and only accepts connections from that same machine. A website in the cloud physically cannot reach it. Installing locally is what makes the live account, bars and quotes real — and it keeps your trading data on your computer.
It does not trade for you. Paper mode is the default and live order routing is disabled in this beta — MyFuturesOS analyses, scores, explains and journals, and you place the trade. It is not financial advice and makes no promise of profit.
Questions
Why does it install on my PC instead of just running in the browser?+
Because your NinjaTrader runs on your PC. MyFuturesOS talks to it over a local connection on your own machine — a website in the cloud has no way to reach it. Keeping the app local is also why your broker credentials and trade data never leave your computer.
Does it place trades automatically?+
Not in this build. Paper mode is the default and live order routing is disabled in the beta. MyFuturesOS analyzes, scores, explains and journals — you stay in control of execution.
What happens before I connect NinjaTrader?+
The app runs on clearly-labeled sample data. Every panel carries a source chip — LIVE, SIMULATED, SYNTHETIC or TEMPLATE — so you always know exactly what you are looking at. Nothing simulated is ever dressed up as live.
Do you see my trades or my account?+
No. The connection to NinjaTrader is local to your machine. Your account data and fills stay on your PC.
Can I cancel?+
Yes — manage or cancel your subscription any time from your account dashboard. Your license stops renewing at the end of the current period.
